I knew I wanted to be a hair and makeup artist at a very young age. At three, I cut and styled my little sister’s hair, much to my mother’s dismay. Luckily my skills improved, doing creative hair styles and makeup for family and friends. After graduating from Cosmetology school in 2009, I worked at a few traditional salons before landing a job at Benefit Cosmetics, where I learned facial waxing and makeup. In 2012 I started interning with a bridle hair and makeup artist, and I’ve been perfecting my craft ever since. I currently work at a style bar in Petaluma, CA and have started my own business, Waves, as a freelance hair and makeup artist.
